I do not have a name for his father but we think he passed away when Edward was in his 20's. Edward had a brother called Paddy and two step brothers Charlie and Mick. He also had a sister who became a Nun. Eileen Teresa O'Connor (nee Solan) was born in Cabra and came to the UK with my Grandad when she was about 20. I remember being told as a child that they came to the UK because Grandad wanted to fight in the war and he lied about his age to do so. Any information would be of great help as I have started to come to a bit of a dead end.
