red mail STANDFIELD family of Wareham
I'm researching the history of the STANDFIELD family of Wareham and the surrounding area. I would be interested to hear from anyone with Dorset-based Standfield ancestors, but especially with Standfield links from the following areas: Wareham, Carey (nr. Wareham), Bere Regis, Winterborne Kingston, Middle Hyde, Moreton, Bloxworth. I have traced each generation of the Wareham and Bere Regis Standfields back to the marriage of my 5 x great-grandparents Charles Standfield and Dorothy Fry in 1760. Other Dorset surnames with links to my Standfield ancestors are: FRY, HENWOOD, HAWKINS, COBB, TARRANT, SAMWAYS, PUCKETT, STICKLEY, IRONSIDE, SERGENT, TRIM, TOOPE, TREVETT. I would be happy to share any of the information I have already found.
