red mail Hodges, Hercules
According to the 1766 marriage certificate between Hercules HODGES and Lydia PHINNEY in Barnstable, Massachusetts, USA, Hercules was born in England in 1743. I can find a record of a Herculas born to a Mary HODGES in Stourpaine in 1742, but the trail stops there. Any information will be appreciated.
red mail Doreen HEATH nee COOMBS
Seeking any information re Doreen May COOMBS who married John Enos HEATH. Doreen was born in Stourpaine in 1907, but eventually moved to Twyford Hants where she was living until her husband died in 1987, and possibly until her own death in 1997. Doreen was not related to me but John HEATH was my father's cousin. I have only recently learned of their existence, but am hoping that they may have had children or relatives who may be able to identify some photos left by my father, or provide me with more information about my father's family. As far as I know my Dad never kept in touch with his family and certainly never spoke about them except to tell me that he used to spend holidays in Puttenham with his uncle who was a blacksmith. Apart from this I only know what I have learned through tracing my family tree after Dad died. I have learned that the blacksmith was John HEATH'S father George. John's mother was Ada Louise (nee KILL) HEATH who lived to well over 100years old. I have a photo of a lady who was celebrating her 100th birthday and I would like to confirm if this was my Great Aunt Ada.
