Any information please on my 6xG grandfather Robert MOORE (1680-1745) of Stour Provost. He married Margaret BRAVEL of Compton Abbas in 1711 at Stourpaine. Eleven children, including names such as Stafford, Mansell, Bravel and Palmes/Palmer.

My 2nd Great Grandfather was Sidney Munday b,abt 1837 in either Stour Provost or Shaftesbury Dorset.His brothers were William and Samuel Garret, parents were I think James and Hester. If any one has any further details I would be very intereseted into find out.
Hiscocks In Stour Provost
Francis Rogers Hiscock born Stour Provost 1850. His father Edwin (1820 to 1889) Lyde Hill Farm, Stour Provost. Married Ann Gray of Tisbury. Edwin's father Edward married Edith was a farmer in East Stour and I believe died in 1831 aged 51. Francismarried Emily Earney of Sixpenny Handley and moved to Rookery Farm, Farnham, Dorset in 1871 died 1903. His son was Robert whose daughter Violet Doris Hiscock (1916 to 1983 buried Shaftesbury, Dorset)was my grandmother.
Hunt - Stour Provost
I am researching my family tree but all i have to go on as that my grandad, Lesley Hunt was born in Stour Provost. He had a brother, Wilf, also of Stour Provost. My grandmothers maiden name was Baugh, of Allington, Wilts.
I have traced the Stour Provost Munday family back to 1662. Is anyone interested, or anyone with aditional info.
