We would very grateful for help to trace the antecedents of a JOHN COURTENAY, who married MARY MEADWAY on 31 January 1726 in POWERSTOCK,Dorset. Their decendents have been identified, but, we have not been able to trace John Courtenay's parents, date of birth, where he came from or any other information prior to his marriage. Thanks.

Does anyone have information about Richard Randall's parents? He was born in 1793 in Powerstock with Milton, Dorset listing his mother's name as Mary but with no father's name. It's interesting to note that his children's names in the parish records of Beer Hacket are spelled in various forms of Randall/Rendel (Samuel, Richard and Israel). His wife's name was Maria/Mary. He is listed in the 1841 England census in Wareham, Parish of Holy Trinity.

I am looking for information on a Joseph WRIZTON born 1747 and died 1823. He married Margaret DOWNTON in 1785 in Powerstock, Dorset and was apparently a mariner. The family name changed to WRIXON with his children George, Samuel, Joseph and Sarah.
