Richard Frampton born 1803 was my grandfather and I would be interested in finding his parents. He spent a short time in jail having been convicted of being a smugglers lightman.
red mail Looking for Tharmes
My Grandfather Edgar Tharme was born 31st Jan 1893 in Kinson. I am trying to find someone that could throw some light on his death. There is no record of his death in the UK. We know he was killed in an accident 1925/26 while at sea abroad, but have been unable to find any record of the place he died and when he died. My hope is that an older member or the extended Tharme family may remember being told of his death. When he married in 1915 he went to live on the Isle of Wight and lived there until his death. Can anyone help please!........ Wendy

Richard Frampton, born about 1781, wife Mary. Their son Richard was born 1804 in Kinson, married Anna Maria Reeks in 1831 in Great Canford. This Richard was a Cordwainer/Shoemaker. Their 8th child, John, born 1848, Gardener, was my husband's Great-Great-Grandfather. He married Kezia Louise Deacon in 1876 in Bournemouth. There was a large family in the area known about until the last 20 years. Would welcome any help with this. Liz
