red mail Whittles in Broadwey, Dorset
Does anyone have information on Charles Whittle married to Silvia Brown 1811 in Broadwey, Dorset. Had the following children - William, Charles Cheeseman, John Brown Cheeseman, Josiah Cheeseman, Jeremiah John Brown Cheeseman, Ann Elizabeth Cheeseman, Uriah Cheeseman, Hezekiah Thomas and Silvia Thomasina Cheeseman Whittle - all christened in Broadwey. William married Jane (Read??) and emigrated to Australia from Dorchester (1839). I'd like to trace ancestors of this family and also find where the "Cheeseman" name came from. Thank you.
