red mail Weaver - Beaminster
I am an only child with few relatives but my late father Robert Ernest Henry Weaver told me of his family who all originated from Beaminster. Having searched a family search engine I have traced back to William and Mary Weaver my great great great grandparents who had two children Elizabeth and Henry in 1799 and 1801 respectively.Henry married Elizabeth Bowditch and they had six children one being a son also called Henry who married Rebecca ? they had four children one being a son William Percy who married Gertrude Emily Bennett who were my grandparents, I never knew them as they died before I was born. They had two sons, my father Robert and his brother William Ronald Gerrard Weaver. The names these ancestors gave their children come up time and time again over the generations and I feel there must be lost relatives out there that I would love to know. Please contact me if you are a missing link. Carol.

Lost Legg?
Job LEGG to be precise. My mother-in-law was Flossie LEGG who came from several generations of LEGGs who lived in Buriton, Hants. The name can be traced back to Job LEGG b c.1801 if the age on his death certificate is reliable. Only other informationfrom 1841 census is that he was born out of Hampshire. From IGI it seems that most Job LEGGs hail from Dorset, several in Beaminster, so is anyone missing him from their tree? Would also be interested to hear from anyone who has their Job LEGG as that would eliminate him from inquiries!
