I am seeking information on William George H. Ruth (1852-1932) who took up the post of teacher at Cockwood School in 1876. He was a lodger at the home of John Henry Harris, the son of Mary Ann Harris, the teacher of infants at Cockwood School according to the 1881 census. He married Bessie Jane Webber in 1881 and had two children, William and Olive. In the 1911 census he was still at Starcross and was now shown as Headteacher. Both of his children were listed as teachers in this census. Any information on the family appreciated

William Vigers (his Wife Harriett) had Elizabeth, Mary Ann, George, Harriett, William and Alice. Mary Ann was my GG.Great-Grandmother, and died within amonth of having my G.Grandfather.
