Rebecca Lee Silverton c1794
I am looking for information on my great great great grandmother, Rebecca Lee, born around 1794 at Silverton, Devon. She married William Gilham of Dorking, Surrey. I'd like to know about her parents and siblings and how she ended up in Surrey. Perhaps the family travelled to Epsom for the Derby each year? William and Rebecca's son, also William, (born in 1824) married Lois Hampton and lived at Horsell. My great grandfather, Henry Gilham, was born there. The family moved to Palehouse Common, Sussex, where my granny was born, and later to Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.

red mail ELSTON
Looking for ancestors of Daniel Elston, born Shobrooke, 1822, wife Susan, born Netherexe, 1828? Children all born in Silverton were James 1850, Georgina 1855, Sarah Ann 1857 and Ivis 1863. It would appear that Daniel lived in Silverton for most of his life until sometime between 1891 and 1901 when he was to be found living with daughter Sarah and her husband Frank Mortimer in Bradninch. Daniel is my great great grandfather. Would anyone have any knowledge of this Elston family? I believe there were 2 Elston families in Silverton during the same period of 1851 - 1901. Whether they were related I do not know. Any information, no matter how little, would be appreciated.
