Following him to America was a brother, Harry Westlake Chowins and eventually 4 nephews of another brother, Edmund Chowins. Having been trying to establish the grand-parents of James Cotton Chowins. It appears that his parents were James Chowins and Elizabeth Westlake. James Chowins parents were a Henry Chowins and Amey Cotton. The problem is there have been connections reported to two different Henry Chowins. One would have been only 15 years when married. Any help would be appreciated
