Mary Ann Cann of Hartland
Looking for any information on Mary Ann Cann, daughter of William Cann and Eliza Mayne. Born around 1854, her headstone in Stoke churchyard says she died on 16 Jan 1945, aged 92. There is a probate record for a Mary Ann Fry Cann (widow) who died on that day, and who (at that time) lived in Kilkhempton, Cornwall. However, apart from a census record in 1861, when she is living at home with her parents, I can find no trace of her. (She is not the Mary Ann Cann who married John Nichol.) Did she marry a Mr Fry? Does anyone know any more?
