red mail bankbottom-re:mantel-connor-dooley
annie connor comes up on the census of my great grandmother mary dooley from ireland as her step daughter, i was surprised to discover hilary mantel the author of 'giving up the ghost' grew up on brosscroft/bank st. in her book she mentions an annie connor as being the sister of her grandmother. incidentally hilary mantel was born hilary thompson i think. i would be grateful for any info on annie connor, and mary dooley nee rowan, i would love to get back further with my family tree re; mary dooley nee rowan, maybe she was married to one of the 'july barbers' or something. thankyou for reading this. info gratefully received.
