My Gx7 grandparents were William Phip(p)s who was b.abt 1650 in Denby, and Grace Pocock who was born abt 1655 also in Denby. There is a possibility that they were married 12/June/1679 in St Lawrence Jewry, London. Their daughter, Ann, was born in Denby in abt 1698 and she married John Bullock in Denby on 20/Nov/1718. Would be most grateful if anyone has further information on these families.

red mail Lord & Lady Reilly (? RIley)
I was told by an elderly relative of some family links with a Lord & Lady Reilly (Riley)who, she claimed, lived in Denby Hall (? House)in Derbyshire probably in the early/mid 1800's. The story she told was of their wayward daughter (no name known) who ran off with the coachman and was subsequently disinherited. The estate apparently then went into Chancery. I have had no success in corroborating any of this. Can anyone help please - Ian
