DAKEYNE

Looking at Burke's and posted trees I am having some trouble confirming the direct links. Anyone else looking at these families out there to help me? Thanks, Bev
red mail GORTON, Thomas
I am looking for information on Thomas GORTON (sometimes spelled GORTEN), who lived in Darley Dale or nearby. He was baptised in 1682, and wrote a will in February 1754, leaving his house and property to his nephews and nieces, children of his sister Dorothy who was married to John BEELEY of Stoney Middleton. Thomas must have been perceived as quite wealthy, and presumably died a bachelor. I am interested in what property was involved in this will, and any further information about the Gortons.
