We are trying to determine if James Wyatt who was christened at Chapel-en-le-Frith on 11th December 1767 is the Janmes Wyatt who married Hannah Wood at All Saints Church and later lived at Blackshaws Farm in Glossop Derbyshire. I am seeking information or descendants of MARTHA MYCOCK born 1880 at Chapel en le Frith. She was the daughter of Mary (nee Lees) and Ben Mycock. In 1881 and 1891 the Mycocks resided in Sparrow Pit, Chapel en le Frith. Martha married CHARLES WILLIAM HODGSON at Keighley in 1899. He was the son of Sarah Jane (nee Rooke) and William Smith Hodgson. Martha and Charles Hodgson had at least 10 children between 1900 and 1920.

I am looking for information about my great grandfather William Christopher Upton married to Louisa nee Jones. The 2 sons I know about are, my grandfather William Thomas, Born 5/6/1904 at 3 Birchinlee, Hopewoodlands Road & Thomas William, born in 1909. William Christopher is described as a "navvy" on my grandfathers birth registration. Louisa & William were married in 1903 at Chapel en le Frith. I am also looking for information about my grandmother, Nora millicent Wilson. She was born in Woodlane, Bamford on 2/9/1907 to Sydney Charles Wilson & Elizabeth Wilson nee Robinson. I know of one sister, Margaret.Syney charles is described as a "woodman" on my grandmothers birth registration. Nora married William Upton in Chapel en le Frith in 1928. I am looking for Carrington's at Chapel en le Frith. My Great great grandfather was Anthony Carrington born 1772, He married a Mary who was born in 1780 and died in 1848 at Knowl Top farm, Bugsworth. His son James Carrington was born in 1811 and died in 1881, he is buried in front of St Thomas a Beckett church, his brother Anthony is in the next grave. Any help appreciated and I have lots of Carrington BMD's relating to Bugsworth and Chapel en le Frith, I also have notes re-Carrington's from the diary of James Clegg for research purposes
