In researching the Armstrongs, I have found that the family originate in Dalston. My Great, Great grandfather, William, came to Liverpool in the late 1860s but it appears that his father, David and his Grandfather, Andrew (my 4x Great Grandfather) lived at 'Unthank' and 'Greensyke', Dalston. I would appreciate any contacts regarding this branch of Armstrongs. Jo
