red mail Nicholas family in St.Erth
In researching my family tree I keep running into a proverbial "brick wall" concerning the recent past. Almost everything before 1900 is relatively plain sailing, but the problems start in the early 1900's, which is why I think that if there are any relatives of mine still living in the St.Erth area, they might be able to help me. I think that after my parents and I moved to Holland in 1947 {my father was Dutch} my mother gradually lost touch with her side of the family, and I have no recollection of her ever really talking about them. Is there anyone who could possibly give me an idea how I might go about finding out if there are any descendants of Richard Nicholas and Susan Ann Nicholas, néé Badge, who were married on August 24th 1861 in St.Erth still living in the St.Erth area, and how I might get in touch with them? They had {as far as I have been able to make out} 8 children, one of which was Margery, my maternal grandmother.
