red mail POLLARD / MALLETT / ROWE
My husband is a descendent of Richard Pollard and Elizabeth Rowe. Richard was born in Duloe in July 1860, Elizabeth was born in Gulval, 17 Nov 1861. Richard's parents were William Pollard and Jane Mallett (married 6 Jan 1841 in Duloe). Richard and Elizabeth immigrated to Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the early 1880's. I'd love to share information if you know any more about this family. Thanks!

red mail Hoopers - 1840s
My great, great grandfather Thomas Smythe Hooper arrived in Melbourne Australia in 1848 leaving from Truro Cornwall. I do not know when he was born, the family he left behind or the reason why he came to Australia. I do know he won 2nd Prize at the Duloe Green School Xmas 1844. The Smythe always seemed to be used and was passed on to one of his children. I would like to know about the family he left behind.
Harriett Pollard
Am looking for details of Harriet Pollard b.1840 Duloe/Tredinnick, Cornwall. She married Thomas Earwaker b.1840 on 7/6/1870 Swanmore, Hampshire and they had children Herbert, Mabel Olive, Bertha, Thomas & Edith Jane. Thomas Earwaker was a blacksmith as was his father Thomas b.1809 and his grandfather also Thomas. From the time of her marriage to Thomas in 1870 Harriett appears to have lived at Hill Pound, Swanmore until her death in 1908.
