red mail HARVEY
Information on the Harvey family of Blisland sought. Specifically we are looking for the family of one JOSEPH HARVEY (born circa 1811). He was a blacksmith and moved to St Teath. His father was probably a farmer called HENRY HARVEY. Nothing else is known, so any information would be welcome. Also interested in finding out if there was any connection to the "Harveys of Hayle" engineering family.
red mail ALBERT HOLMAN/MARY ANN WHALE
My great-grandparents, Albert Holman, a farmer (b. Altarnun 1865) and Mary Ann Whale (b. Islington 1865)were married (in Altarnun I think) Oct/Dec 1884. They lived in Altarnun and had 11 children - John Hawke, Ellen Meleta, Winifred, Ada, Doris, Mary, George, Albert, Frank, Ethel and Phyllis Hawke (my grandmother). At some time they moved to Pendrift in Blisland. Albert Holman died here on 16/1/1940. Two of his daughters, Winnie and Ada lived here until the 1960s I believe. I would really like to know exactly when the Holman family moved to Blisland. Any info gratefully received. Thanks
