looking for any information please of the marriage of james hickson born in st chad,over,cheshire in 1753. his wife was elizabeth maddock . James parents were John Hickson born 1730 and Elizabeth Dunn born 1758-1808. Further done the line there was another James Hickson who married an Isabelle Maddock are these related in anyway at all. James Hickson (1753) had a brother named William and a sister named Mary. Any information on them would be helpful also please. If they married ,if so, to whom and where did they live please. william was my 4xs great grandfather and and his father JOHN HICKSON & ELIZABETH DUNN would be my 5xs great grandfather Anything no matter how trivial please would be appreciated so very very much ,it opens the door to yet another generation. Could if possible have an occupation for John and James and William please as its been known that the family had a history of working in the salt industry . Thank you

My gt grandmother, Ada (b.1865, Winsford) was the illegitimate daughter of Mary Dooley (poss b.1849, Over, Winsford). I can't find Ada in the census returns, but I have found an entry for a Mary in 1861 census living in Winsford who's age ties in. Does anyone have any information which may help me find out whether little Ada, or her disgraced mother, was sent away? Or does anyone know if Mary married subsequently? Ada married John Breeze in 1883, and states her father as "unknown".

Looking for gg grandfather, James PEERS. The 1851 census gives his place of birth as Winsford, Cheshire. An estimation, from the census, points to his birth around 1825. However, an estimation of his birth date from his death certificate points to his birth date around 1829. No parents or siblings known.
