Letitia nee Jones was born in Flintshire, Wales the daughter of John and Mary Jones of Prestatyn. Letitia and husband Samuel lived in Poulton cum Seacombe between 1861 and 1881 and in 1867 they were witnesses to her younger brother Hiram when he married Margaret Johnston in Wallasey. Letitia may have died in Birkenhead in 1897 aged 72. Any info on this couple or their family plse

I'm looking for my Grandmother Magdalene's family. She was born in 1899 and left England in 1920. The passenger manifest (Aquitania, departed Liverpool) states she lived in Seacombe and her father's name was John. I know she had siblings (my Aunt used to correspond with a cousin, but lost touch during the war), but don't know if they were brothers or sisters.

I am researching the family line of Chards who originated in Netherbury Dorset. Joshua Chard was my husbands gggrandfather on his paternal grandmothers side. We have filled the tree back to Joshua who was born in Netherbury in 1813 but at the moment i am unable to trace who his parents were although there are a lot of Chards living there at about the right period. My grandfather owned a small tailoring business, and made uniforms during the First World War. They Had six children, Annie, Florence, Jack, Sidney, Esther and Bertie.
