24th January 1858 William Egerton married Mary Boyer in the Parish Church Sandbach. Thomas Egerton is listed as the father of the groom and Daniel Boyer is listed as the father of the bride. Daniel Boyer is a stonemason. Mary Boyer is named as formerly Mary Bowyer when her children have children. I can find no record of a Daniel Boyer or Bowyer in Sandbach in any census. Help.

Formerly of Midgebrook Farm, Somerford Booths, married Eleanor PROUDLOVE 9th Dec 1712 - but WHICH Eleanor? Eleanor b1689 parents George and Anne Davenport or Eleanor b1694 parents John and Hannah Twemlow(?). Eleanor died in Southwark, London, in 1775 aged about 83 years, buried at Wimbledon St Mary's. Also information on Hannah's first husband, Robert TWEMLOW, whose estate was contested by Thos. and Hannah Moreton. Any information appreciated.

Samuel Brown was born in Brereton, Cheshire c1802. He was in Sandbach from 1841-71 and during this time only lived in Newfield building, according to the census returns at least. I cannot find any more information about him. Please help? I have a Samuel Brown that was born in Tixal 14 feb 1802 whos parents are Joseph (shoemaker) and Mary Brown. Samuel brown is on the Tithe maps living on the outskirts of Sandbach with Lord Crewe as a landlord, but I feel this to be a rather strained leap of hope. Can anybody shed some light on this issue?
