red mail James Crossley & Elizabeth Barlow
I'm looking for info on James Crossley (born 1819 Burton-in-Kendal) & Elizabeth Barlow (born 1819 Dunham Massey). James & Elizabeth married in 1837 & were servants living somewhere in Bosden, near Dunham. Their fathers (Thomas Crossley & John Barlow) were also servants according to J & E's marriage cert. I know that James & Elizabeth were living in Oldham by 1841 & then moved to Chorlton (Manchester). If anyone out there knows why/when James moved to Cheshire from Westmorland or any other info at all - please let me know. Thanks!
