Looking for help trying to solve a mystery. I am descended from Edward Howarth Cassidy born in Dukinfield, Stalybridge in 1847. Edward's mother Ann Cassidy never married but his middle name is down as Howarth. There was a Moses Howarth and family living nearby in the 1841 census and I was wondering if Edward's father was a relative of his. This ring a bell with anyone? My brother took a YDNA test with no relevent matches yet.

I think Timothy Jr is the Tim who married Jane Crawford and came to US about 1848. In 1881 their son John married Roseanne Flaherty in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Roseanne was born Sept 28 1860 at 5 Ancoats St, Ardwick, Manchester. Can anyone give me any help on these folks?

Trying to trace any known relatives of Harry Atherton Hampson DOB 1866 and his daughter Constance Mary Hampson DOB 1892 born in Ashton Upon Lyne Dukinfield. Harry's siblings were John Platt Hampson, Agnes Louisa Hampson and William Hampson. Harry went to South Africa and died there in 1898. Would like to know what happend to his wife Elizabeth (Lizzie) Lawton nee Whittaker. Last known movements of Constance Mary was to Massachusetts in 1917. Constance Mary Hampson had a child Walter whom she put into a home in London in 1913. Walter was sent from there to the Fairbridge Farm School in Western Australia in 1924. He died without ever finding his parents. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give as to what happened to this family.
