Nelly or Nellie Williams
Nellie Williams gave birth to an illigitimate daughter, Joyce, on 27 Sept 1921 when living on Old Hall Lane, Woodford. At the time, Nellie was a General Domestic Servant at New Hall which, with its farm, became part of AVRoe aircraft factory in the 1920's. It is possible that Nellie also gave birth to a daughter, Jessie, in 1915 and died in Nantwich in 1926. It is certainly known that Nellie's daughter, Joyce, was adopted when young, by William and Rose Massey of Dean Row.
