red mail Seeking information on farms & their owners.
I am seeking information/photos on my father, Ernest Alun Jones' family. In the 1911 census my grandfather William Jones (Born 1870 LLanfihangel - Died 1941 Chingford)owned "Glangwydderig Farm" now on Brecon Road Llandovery. In the 1901 census his father Daniel Jones (Born 1830 Llangeler) husband of Rachel (nee Morgan) farmed "Gellidew-isaf". William Jones' wife Anne (nee Williams) her parents John & Anne (nee Davies) John Williams farmed 151 acres "Acheth-isaf". I am wondering if "isaf" means something ? Does anyone out there know this? In the 1901 census Anne Williams was living with her brother David and a cousin David Gooding. My father and his brothers served in the forces during WW2. I have some photos which I would be happy to share. I am very keen to try and find the history of these properties and the families that ran them. Perhaps I still have some living relatives in the area. Any help would be really appreciated.

Prices and Rolleys of Llandovery
Can anyone help ? Am researching three families from the Llandovery area - particularly interested at present in William Price 1738 - 1823 who emigrated to South Carolina. he is said to have made a detailed will naming many of his family at home.Where is it ? If in U.S.A. any hope of getting a copy ? The Rolleys came to Llandovery as mine- managers and surveyors ( possibly from Cornwall )and married into the Price family. Any descendants anywhere ?
