Benjamin had sons, William Ayleway Davies, born 1812, and Richard Gibbon Davies, born about 1815, and in 1822 the family moved to Carmarthen where Benjamin continued his jewellery and watchmaking business, later with a branch in Cardigan run by son William. Benjamin died in Carmarthen on 30 March 1845. His sons continued the business in Carmarthen after his death. Benjamin married Mary Gibbon in Uzmaston in 1808.
