I am stuck with my research My ancestor James McNamara born in Co Mayo (I do not know were exactly) His son was William McNamara born abt 1816 he came to Liverpool around the time of the great famine He married Elizabeth Mullen in Liverpool at St Anthonys Scotland road in 1847 I also think she may have come from Co Mayo and her father was Thomas Mullen Is ther any way that I can trace these people? Co Mayo is a very large area to cover also searching for other siblings William may have had Hope that you can direct me to any site who may have records Thank you Yours sincerely John

Looking for info on this group of three generations of men with this name. Last died in 1859, aged 37. His father was a Farm Bailiff in Stetchworth in the 1850s, as was my Gr gr grandfather, Henry Medcalf. Henry's son, b 1864) was named Noah Fenner Wade Frank Medcalf. Why, I don't know as I can't find a blood link.
