Elizabeth Mothersole Born 1845 Cambridgeshire
I am trying to find the parents of my great grandmother Elizabeth Mothersole, born 1845 in March, Cambridgeshire, with no success. The 1851 census finds her staying with her grandfather John Mothersole in Suffolk. I can find no record of a Cambridge born Elizabeth in the 1861 census and the 1871 Census has her back in Cambridgeshire as a widowed Mrs Bishop with an 8 month old Mary, and a lodger with two of his chidren. She later married him, moved to Nottingham and amongst their children was my Grandma, Florence Anne Dennison, born 1872. My difficulty arises from not being able to find records of Elizabeth's parents. Several other Elizabeth Mothersoles were born around that time in Suffolk where grandad John lived to cloud the issue further. Can anyone provide any information that otherwise eludes me? My thanks in advance.

I am interested in the Haylock family in March, Cambs. As far as I can tell the first of the Haylocks to settle in March was Charles Haylock, a carpenter. He was born in Duxford Cambs. His father was Edward Haylock. I would like to track down the record of Charles' baptism, so far elusive. Charles' first wife was Hannah Baxter who married Charles in 1832 and died in 1838. Hannah was born ca. 1811, but not known where or who her parents were. Any help with a baptism record etc would be greatly appreciated. Charles married another Baxter, Mary in 1838. Not known whether Hannah and Mary were related.
