If anyone has any information on the following please let me know. Joan Lathom (1600-?) married Henry Wrigson/Rixon, children Thomas 1625 and John 1627.
Does anyone have the Waddesdon PRs please? I am trying to discover the birth of a John Rixon (Wrigson). I understand that he had a brother, Thomas, baptised at Waddesdon 13.10.1625, son of Henrye and Joan Lathom. Any information on these would be much appreciated.

Am keen to trace other descendants of the Allen family who lived in Waddesdon from late eighteenth century, specifically Hannah Allen, one of thirteen children born 1865 to Ephraim Allen and Catherine Taylor (married Xmas Day, 1839 in Waddesdon), and her siblings Mary, Susan, Betsy, Philip, Charlotte, Jonas, Esther, Mark, Jasper, Jane, George and Louisa all born between 1836 and 1868. In 1871 they lived at The Green next door to Catherine's brother John. Last known living at Quainton Road around 1881.

My GGGrandfather was Jabez Thompson who claimed to be born in Waddesdon in 1815. His marriage certificate gives his father's name as John who was a cordwainer. John Thompson is listed in the Posse Comitatus of 1798 but I can find no Thompsons in the Waddesdon Parish Records nor the Census (Jabez is living in Wingrave at the time of the 1841 Census). Any ideas?

Family folklore tells that he was a gardener/farm labourer at Waddesdon Manor but this not confirmed. My great grandmother was Elizabeth Ann Cook (known as Annie), She later married James Hines from Wotten Underwood and had several children , one of whom was my grandmother. Her father was charles cook who was a coal merchant originally from waddesdon but later moved to Wotten Underwood.Her mother was a lady called Emma ( nee Allen). George CANNON (b. April 1797 Waddesdon) married Ann SAUNDERS( b. April 1798 Waddesdon) Nov 1818 Waddesdon. I descend through their son Joseph b. 1836 Waddesdon - one of nine children. In the spring of 1837 the family sailed from London to America. Hoping to trade information with a CANNON cousin in the UK. Ann SAUNDERS was the daughter of James SAUNDERS and Hannah COGGINS of whom I know little.

The 1881 census tells me that Sarah Arnull was Christened 3 Oct 1727. Edward Arnull Christened July 25th 1742 both in Waddesdon, Also the marriage of an Edward Arnull January 1728 also John Arnull christened 10 March 1733 son of John and Mary , John Arnull christening 6 July 1740, son of John and Mary.
