Looking for information on Maria Denton who married John Drage in 1852 in Olney. She died in the same year after giving birth to a girl. The name Drage has been mispelt as Dradge on the record of her death as has the surname of her baby Sarah Elizabeth. Also looking for information on Ann Hoddle who registered Maria's death. Hollingshead family
I am trying to find out more about my grandad's half sister Kate Raynor born 1886 who married an Edward Hollingshead, watchmaker. Kate was actually born in Ely Cambs dau of Charlotte and Charles Raynor. She married in Ely and first son called James was born there in 1914, They moved to Olney Bucks and 2nd son called John was born 1914. Kates husband was a watchmaker/jeweller. They lived in Chapel Lane Weston Underwood Newport Pagnall. Kate was a pupil teacher in Ely beforre marriage to Edward. Are there any descendants of this family that I could exchange information. Kate's mother was Charlotte Lee before remarrying. My Grandad was William Lee born 1964.

Both grandsons of Robert, though living in Clerkenwell married wives from Olney in 1808 & 1812, it is believed through family connections there. Robert himself may have moved from there to London along with members of the Parrott and Panton families, marying Sarah Panton there in 1752. All had earlier connections with Gloucestershire, but little is known for certain.

I am looking for information on the Spencer family from the Emberton / Olney areas. Charles Spencer ran the 2 Coopers Inn at 72 High St, Olney and was registered there with the family in 1881, 1891, 1901. He was also an agricultural engineer whilst his sons worked in th shoe industry.
