Does anyone have any information regarding Harold Herbert Dring (part of the Dring family outfitters High Wycombe) born in Reading July 17th 1899 died in Amersham Hospital in 1963, he worked at Howlands in High Wycombe and also Ernest Turners High Wycombe.

Interested in contacting family of James Chandler, born 1922 in Wycombe, and died 2000 at Guildford, Surrey. James married May Rogers, originally of Iver, Bucks, in 1946. May (1926-1993) was my aunt. James Chandler's father was James Thomas Chandler (b. 1898 at Strood, Kent; d. 1961 at Wycombe, Bucks). His mother was Amy Burrows (b. 1896 at Greenwich; d. 1973 at Amersham, bucks. In addition to James, there were 3 other children: Donald, Maisie & Douglas.

Ena Mary was born in Belfast, Ireland. Denis was born out of wedlock and was placed in the National Children's Home and Orphanage at the age of five. At age 14 he was sent to Canada as farm help. His mother, Ena Mary, later married Henry Francis Leopold Coleman and settled in Westcliff on Sea. I am looking for any information about this family.

My 3rd great grandfather, Robert Gibson MILNER was born in London c. 1802 but in 1834 was established here until his death in Jan 1865. He had three children during the early 1830s in Uxbridge. A cabinet maker, married to Ann BALL of Bradenham, he had 13 children and I am descended from William MILNER born 1834. Would be fascinated to make contact with other researchers.

I would love to make contact with any members of the Heath family of High Wycombe. My great-great-grandfather, Thomas Heath, (born in Ramsbury Wilts, circa 1825) died in High Wycombe aged about 60. He was a soldier, then a Miller and Chelsea Pensioner. He left a widow, Sarah Heath (nee Taylor) and a large family, most of whom seem to have stayed in the area. His son, Thomas, however, who was also a Miller, ended up married with children and living in Lancashire, where I live. I have a photo taken about 1906 of my great grandfather, Thomas, on a visit to High Wycombe and on the photo are all his brothers and their wives. Thomas was the only one at that time who was widowed, actually. Here's hoping,..............

My father was born in Bowerdean Road, High Wycombe in 1918. His father's name was James William but I don't have his mother's name. He was one of 7 children - 3 boys and 4 girls. His youngest sister was GI bride and lived in Texas until her death.One other sister died young. Both James and his wife were buried in High Wycombe cemetery but I don't have any dates to work on.
