Looking for information on the family of WILLIAM LORD and MARY(nee possibly BOOKER?)married in 1824 at Denchworth.Children were: CAROLINE(b.1825), JAMES(b.1826), MARIA ANN(b.1829), JOHN(b.1830), EMILY(b.1833), LOUISA(b.1835), WILLIAM(b.1837), RICHARD(b.1841), MATTHEW(b.1843), ABIGAIL(b.1846) and EDITH(b.1850). Maria Ann had an illegitimate daughter SELINA in 1851, then went on to marry JOHN STOCKER of Kingsclere,Hampshire. Most of their seven STOCKER children were born in Newbury. They were: EMILY(b. 1855/6), DAVID(b.1857), ABIGAIL(b.1859), WILLIAM J. (b. 1861), JAMES(b.1864), ROSE A.(b.1866/7), LILLIE(b.1868/9). Abigail Stocker married HENRY BUTLER of Kingsclere, Hampshire at Cold Ash in 1877.

We have links to the BOOKER family of Denchworth back to John BOOKER and Hannah HAINES who had twelve children at Denchworth in the late 1700s. Keene / Cook of Grove
Theo Stanley William Cook, known as "Stan", married Evelyn Maud Keene on 28 March 1936 at Grove Parish Church. He was the son of Albert Cook and Amelia or Emily Haines. Stan died on 17 November 1936. Could anyone tell me more about Stan and his short marriage to Eve. I would love to see any photographs of him/them.
