Am researching Cameron family who are living in Terregles at the time of the 1901 census. Head of household James, born Galston c. 1856 (aged 45 on census), wife Annie nee Jack, born Dundonald c. 1857. They married in Auchinleck in 1876. Children John J. b. Auchinleck c. 1878, Robert b. Muirkirk c. 1880, Maggie b. Muirkirk c. 1882, Mary b. Muirkirk c. 1884, Annie b. Stair c. 1886, Agnes b. Stair c. 1890, James b. Stair c. 1892, Thomas b. Stair c. 1894, Archibald B. b. Stair c. 1898. With them on the census is Annie's brother James Jack, b. Dundonald c. 1856. I am trying to find old photographs of the family.

Searching for burial lair of Mary Gillies who died 31/07/1857 at Templehill, Troon, Dundonald. Noted on her Death Certificate of that date, the burial place being - " Churchyard of Galston" and in turn accertified by the "Church Sexton a Mr. John McMurkie". All usual routes unproductive so far. therefor any imfo / knowlage would be greatly appreciated by the family.

I am initially looking for Jeane McGuiness Parker BORN 20th November 1920. Later Jeane McAllister. I think born in Galston/Riccarton Kilmarnock. She is my fathers aunty.
