red mail Thomas H Williamson1760 to 1867
He seems to have had 9 children. Three moved to Australia, four stayed in North Ireland, one move to Oregon and if the Australian web sites are correct, Anna move to New York and died in 1906. She married a Benjamin Safford, also from Ireland and was my great-grandmother. If any of the Williamson family remaining in the Templepatrick area has any info, it would be appreciated.
red mail Reid, Arthur
Hi Looking for any information on Arthur Reid or his family. I believe he was a blacksmith who lived on Lowtown Road, Kilgreel, Templepatrick. He was born around 1866. He is on the NI census of 1901 along with his wife Agnes and Children Arthur (11months), Agnes (3 yrs) and Hugh (5 years). I found a death certificate for him for July 1908. He died aged 42 of tubercular meningitis. Between the 1901 census and his death in 1908 he fathered 2 more children to his wife, these were named Walter and John and were aged 8 and 6 respectively at the 1911 census. Arthurs brother was called John Gourley Reid, married to Agnes Jane Reid and also lived in Kilgreel. If anyone has any more info on any of this family I'd love to hear from them!
