I am looking for the family of Matilda Butler. On her marriage details (in Stewartstown, County Tyrone in 1865 to Thomas McSherry) she was born in 1841, father's name Daniel Buttler. Another member of the Buttler family connected to the McSherries in County Tyrone seems to have come from Larne (in 1851 census - spelt Butler here) and her father was Daniel Butler, aged 67,and her mother was Mary Butler, aged 53, and I am wondering if Matilda Buttler was a member of this family. Any help in tracing Matilda Butler, b.1841, would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Marion

Sittlington
Private Thomas Sittlington of Larne, b. 1894, son of Samuel Sittlington of Droagh Cottage, Larne, served with the North Irish Horse (and Royal Irish Fusiliers) in France where he was mortally wounded in March 1918. If anyone has a photo of him, especially in uniform, we would love a copy. Also photos of any other person who served in NIH in WW1 would be most welcome.

I am seeking details on the Massey family. Mary Ann (known as Ellen) was baptised at St. Patrick's Church, Belfast, in 1801 and had a younger brother Robert, baptised 1803. Their father was Thomas Massey but their mother's name is not known. Ellen married Rodger O'Kane in Larne, co Antrim, in 1822. They were my great great grandparents and migrated to Melbourne in 1859. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking info on my ggg grandfather Alexander McGowan McWilliams. Born about 1759 in Larne, Antrim, Ulster, Ireland. Can't find name of his wife. Children were David, John, Robert, Mary, Jane, Ester and Andrew E. (my gg grandfather). Alexander supposedly came to the U.S. arriving in Charleston, SC. He settled in Laurens County, SC, where he supposedly died in 1813. Would like to find ship he sailed on and where he is buried. I was in Laurens, SC in late December 2009, but couldn't locate his grave.
