Looking for information for the parents, siblings, etc. for David McCartney/Macartney, b.1830. David joined the 57th Irish (West Middlesex) regiment in 1847 - known as The Diehards - went to India and on to New Zealand, where he was discharged from the Regiment in 1867. David married Sarah Fox.
James Jamison/Agnes McCLean or MacLean
These are my Great Great Great Grandparents who married in Ballyeaston on 9 Nov 1937 and later moved to Carnmoney where they raised seven kids, the second of which was my GG Granddad Wm John b 1841 and married Mary McKinstry, living eventually at Ballymartin House in Templepatrick, Co Antrim. N Ireland. Any help or links welcome.

Seeking any information about the Hilditch family, who were living in the Balleaston area in the 1840's, before later moving to Belfast. Especially seeking information about Hugh Hilditch and Agnes McConnell who married at Donnegore in 1844, and their respective families.

Looking for family of Alex Gilmour who died 15 Jan 1909 who is buried in the Church yard of the 2nd Ballyeaston Church.Alex was the son of Thomas Gilmour & Ellen Whiteford who also had a daughter Mary & son Andrew.

James McKeon/McKeown who married Sarah Houston in 1845 in Ballyeaston Church, their son David McKeown b. 1857 Ballyclare. I am sure James and Sarah would have had more children between 1845 and 1857, but do not know how to find this out. Also connected may be James McKeown who married in 1868 Mary McVeigh in Belfast, children Houston and Samuel McKeown born in Ballynure.
ERSKINE FAMILY. BALLYEASTON Co. ANTRIM
I hope someone out there can help me. I am looking for descendants of Thomas Erskine married Catherine Thompson in Co. Antrim in 1828. They had a family of eight children who were all christened at Ballyeaston, Co. Antrim John Erskine born 2nd September 1829 Jane Erskine born 16th May 1830 Thomas Erskine born 29th July 1833 Robert Erskine born 21st January 1836 Janet Erskine (my great grandmother) born 4th December 1838 William Erskine born 1840 James Erskine born 22nd September 1845 Alexander Erskine born 1st July 1847 Has anyone information about the ancestors of Thomas Erskine and Catherine Thompson or the descendents of any of their six children.
