red mail Francis Donald married to Christian Baron/Barron
I have a strong hunch that my ancestor William Donald is the son of a Francis Donald who married a Christian Baron/Barron on 9th July 1767 in Oldmelrum. The couple may have other offspring but I have not progressed further with the search as yet - to date I have found four daughters - Elspet bapt. 2nd Aug 1768, Margaret bapt. Jan 6th 1771, Christian bapt. Jan 12th 1773 and Helen bapt. 13th Nov 1774 then William bapt. on 20th September 1777. My William married a Barbara Fraser on 9th Jan 1803 in Cluny. I cannot find definitive proof of the connection and would appreciate hearing from anyone who may have my William in their tree. I t would be wonderful to be able to finally identify who he is!

My great grandmother's family lived at 23 Cowgate from at least 1841 (in 1841 census.) Father, John Robertson, died in 1864 but mother, Margaret ms. Caithness, lived there until her death in 1894 aged 88. Her death was registered by son James who lived in Gas st.
red mail Donald Family
I am looking for anyone who can help me find the grandparents of my 4 x great grandfather Francis Donald. He was born in Cluny/Echt in 1803 to William Donald and Barbara Fraser and lived in Roundhaugh, Bourtie until his death in 1888. He was married to Elizabeth Brownie. It is William's parents that I am finding difficulty in proving, he would have been born c1775, married Barbara in January 1803 in Cluny and I presume died before 1854 before official death records. Any help would be greatfully received.
