Gill's of co mayo
Looking for info on the Gill family: Austin Gill b. 1816/20 Wife was Elizabeth b. 1820. One of their sons was Joseph b. 1854. I think they must have left Ireland between 1850 and 1854 and settled in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Joseph later came down to Plymouth, Devon. Irish records seem sparse and I am looking for a birth for Austin and his marriage to Elizabeth ? It would be nice to find a record of their departure from Ireland and arrival in England. So if there any Gill's in the Staffordshire area out there, with this family in their tree, I'd love to hear from you!

red mail Corrigan Family
My ancestor John J. Corrigan (b. 1868) came to the US from either Mayo or Belfast. That is debated. He settled in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania. It is believed he left Ireland for the US about 1885. His parents were possibly John and Anne Corrigan (b. 1835). What is known is that he had a brother Hugh Corrigan (b. 1874) that was in the US by 1900 along with their mother Anne. Both Hugh and Anne arrived in 1891. Possible other siblings may have been Felix, Bridget, and Nellie. Any information about this family would be appreciated. I would like to learn more about the family that was left in Ireland as well as confirm where they came from.
