Gildea Park Essex
My aunt Phyllis RINK is shown on the passenger list leaving for Kenya in 1958; she was a teacher, and the record shows she intended to stay in Kenya for over a year. I know she returned to the UK at some point, but have never been able to trace her. She may have married in Kenya, but I can't find any passenger lists for returning migrants after 1959. Her address on the passenger list was Repton Avenue Gildea Park (I don't know which part of Essex this is). Previously she had lived in Brighton, where one of her sisters lived. Any information gratefully received. Thank you

red mail Fitch and Mildmay Families
Am looking to find out if there are family links between these two families in the 1780-1800 time frame. They worked in high-profile jobs together, but did they inter-marry? The Mildmays were based mostly in Chelmsford, Essex and the Fitch families were in various other Essex villages: Bocking and Writtle, etc. Would like to know about Thomas Fitch of "the Parish of St Peter" and how he came to be tried before a Grand Jury. Also can anyone shed light on what happened between the Bishop of Rochester and Lewis Disney Fitch (aka Ffytche, Fffytche) which resulted in the Bishop getting ownership of Danbury Place, later Danbury Palace? Any information gratefully received.
