James Jackson Porter
Seeking information about James Jackson Porter born circa 1819, he married Mary Holtham also born circa 1819 in Tewkesbury in 1843. They had one child Mary Ann born circa 1846 before moving to Tipton between 1846 and 1851 where they had at least one other child Eliza, born in 1851. James's wife Mary died in West Bromwich in 1859. James then had a further two children with another woman Elizabeth Nock before he died in 1872. |
Jill Griffiths
I am trying to find out what happened to my friend Jill Griffiths. I used to work with her many years ago and we used to write regularly to each other. She stopped writing about 3 years ago and I have been unable to find out where/what happened to her. She run a hot foil printing business with her husband Robert in Mitton Tewkesbury. I live in Tasmania now so cannot visit the area.
Any help would be appreciated. Kathryn |

They had eight, possibly nine children all christened in Tewkesbury: Mary, Martha, Elizabeth, Enoch (died age 1), Enoch, Thomas, William, Ann, and John (?). Where did Enoch come from? |
Information Needed Harper/Hartland Family
I'm looking for some information on Irene Hartland nee Harper, she married Jack (could be John) Hartland she 7 children, Jack, Lionel, Audrey, Roy, Cissy, Donald and Ruby(my grandmother) who married Ernest Donald Jones in 1939 or thereabouts. I know one of the children was born a twin, but one twin died. They came from Apperley near Tewkesbury, and moved to Feltham in Middlesex where my Gt Grandfather worked on the railway. We are currently trying to put together a family tree but with no birth, death and marriage dates its proving difficult. Any information anyone can help with would be much appreciated. |
