Robert Griffiths (c. 1844-?) of Liverpool
I am seeking additional information on Robert Griffiths, born c. 1844 in Liverpool. He was the grandson of Hugh (c. 1791-1835) and Margaret (c. 1797-1872) Griffiths. He was living with his widowed grandmother on the 1851 (erroneously listed as son then) and the 1871 Liverpool censuses. On the 1881 census he is listed with a wife Anne and a two-year-old daughter Margaret A.. His occupation on both the 1871 and 1881 censuses was Porter.
I would like to identify his parents.

Florrie Clarke
Florrie Clarke lived on Upper Parliament Street in the 1920's. Her cousin, Bessie, from Kendal, was looked after on Upper Parliament St. by Florrie while Bessie gave birth to a baby girl, approx 1925. Bessie wasn't married at the time and the baby was given up for adoption before Bessie returned to her family in Kendal. Any information regarding Bessie, Florrie and the baby will be greatly appreciated. |
Bessie Clarke
Approx 1925, Bessie Clarke came to Liverpool from Kendal, Westmorland, to give birth to her baby daughter. Bessie was unmarried at the time and stayed at the home of her cousin Florrence (Clarke?) while she gave birth to the baby. Florrence (Florrie) lived on Upper Parliament Street, Liverpool at the time. After the birth, Bessie returned to Kendal without her baby, which was adopted.
I am seeking information that will help me identify the baby Bessie gave birth to. |
