I am tracing ancestors of my paternal grandmother Annie Elizabeth Irving b. Liverpool 1907 d.Edinburgh 1992. Her father was William Irving b 1879 d.Cheshire 1940. From 1911, age four my grandmother was put in the care of her great aunt Annie Elizabeth Naylor b Nottingham1853 d.Wirral 1936 as her mother left the family home and was never seen again. My grandmothers 2 older sisters were thought to have been put in the care of an orphanage. She never saw them again either. I am trying to trace the lives of these missing relatives. Their surname would have been Irving and my grandmothers sisters would have been born between 1901-1905 most probably in West Derbyshire. I don't know their first names but would very much like to. Anyone related to Irvings from Liverpool or Naylors from Nottingham/Yorkshire?
