Looking for any descendants of James Poynton, baker, or Frederick Poynton, baker, both of Bootle, Aigburth and especially Anfield at various times late 1890s to early 1900s.
I am searching for relatives of Mary McCouid nee Connor D.O.B 1900. She was married to Alec McCouid D.O.B 1900 and they lived in Bootle or Kirkdale Liverpool. She had two sisters Susannah and Alice and four daughters named Susannah, Jean, Margaret, Mary.There may have been another daughter called Doreen. Mary died January 1931 in Walton Hospital.
Trying to trace my grandfather-in-law Peter aka Patrick born about 1876, I think in Liverpool. His father's name on his marriage certificate is shown as James DORAN, Royal Mail Driver. Peter was in the Army Service Corps at the time of his marriage to Hannah Margaret HALL in 1918 in Newcastle. Any information on birth/baptism date or location would be helpful.

Daniel Lemon of Montrose married Mary Frances Paul (born Liverpool) at Cardiff Jun Qtr 1894. In 1901 census Mary Lemon age 37 is with Isabella Maud Lemon age 7 and Ernest Lemon age 5 in the West Derby, Emanuel area. (Cannot find Daniel Lemon in Liverpool area). In 1911 Census Daniel Lemon age 64 born Montrose, Forfar is with Mary Frances Lemon age 50, Maud Isabella Lemon age 16 and Ernest Lemon age 5. Living at 119 North Hill Street, in the Toxteth Park area. Would like to confirm if this Daniel Lemon was previously a ships carpenter born 1845 at Montrose, Forfar, living at 19 Hill Town, Dundee in 1867?
Seeking information on a Robert Orr born abt.1856 in Liverpool adopted by a family called Reilly living in the Great Howard district of Liverpool. He was known by the name Reilly until he married in 1878 to Rose Ann Smith and later lived at Princes Walk Liverpool. Any information on either family would be much appreciated.

I'm looking for any relatives of Bernard Joseph and Edith Lunt Woods who lived on Patrick Avenue in Bootle in the 20's - 50's. They had two children; a daughter Veronica born around 1924 and a son Anthony born 1926. Bernard was with the police force. Anthony was a licensed electrician. Anthony and Veronica emigrated to Canada in the early 50's. Bernard and Edith followed shortly after that after that.

I am searching for any information regarding my G G Grandfather Frederick HAND, He was born approx. 1815/ 1888 (Birkenhead) lived in Lancashire he married a lady called Helen Watt nee: Parker 1848 , they seem to have separated he then meet my G G Grandmother Alice Brookfield. Alice appears to have died and Frederick once again marries a lady called Nannie Frances CALCUTT 1874. Frederick hand many children but I noticed Nannie and Frederick had a daughter named Maud Lousia HAND and Maude appears to have died at the age of 15 in Birkenhead in 1890. recently I have learned that Frederick at the ripe old age of 65 received a 5 year penal servitude for bigamy as Helen Watt Hand only recently died when had a notice put in the paper stating she was the wife of Frederick Hand so Nannies family reported it to the police, hence he was charged. Does anyone have any information regarding this story RE; Helen, Nannie, Maude or any of the other children from these relationships or their families. Please :) I do have a fair bit of info on My GGG Alice as she is my GM \ grand mother.
William Stuart Burns
William, b 1810, married Elizabeth Smyth (Irish ancestry-daughter of James Smyth and Alice Gainsford) and some of their children were born in Liverpool and some in India. His family were Scottish but I cannot find the connection. She and some of the children migrated to Australia, and she died at Avoca. I don't think William migrated. Can anyone help with William's origins please? Robyn
