hi i'm trying to find out anything about my greatgrand father his name was adam white born 1887 we think in jarrow but we know in the durham area but have tried many searches and have drawn a blank so if anyone can help please do not sure if he was an orphan but he did move to swansea thats all we have until he married my greatgrand mother

Francis Craig married to Mary about 1825 in Jarrow, Westoe. Found in 1841 thru 1881 in parish of Holy Trinity, Their boys William and John were Coopers and died after 1881. Mary and Francis died after 1871. Daughter Mary married James Halliday of South Shields.

Larkin Thomas (Jan 10 Red)
Thomas Larkin born 1872, son of Simon larkin and Mary Doudican, lived in George Street, Jarrow with his sister Mary and her husband James Donathy, Also with Thomas were the children of his brother James Larkin and Bridget Hand who had both died before 1911. The children named James b.1907 and Mary b.1909. Thomas also had brothers Patrick and Denis Larkin who all remained in the Jarrow area. I know Thomas like his father and brothers had worked at Palmers Shipyard. For a short time Thomas lived with his father Simon and his stepbrothers George and William McMaughan Any information on Thomas Larkin and the Donathy family appreciated.
