My great grandmother (Eliza Taylor) was born in Hounslow about 1824 and married my great grandfather (George Stapleton) in Paddington on 13 February 1851; according to the marriage certificate Eliza's father was a butler, but his christian name was not entered. I did find a Henry Taylor in the 1861 census living in the St Marylebone Workhouse (a butler aged 63 born in Oakley, Bucks)- does anyone have him on their tree, or offer any ideas.
red mail Butler roots?
Looking for any family/dependants of a Frank Butler m. Winifred Barnes - they had a son (Frederick) b. Dec.1934 very prematurely who survived (my father). Frank (of Irish or Welsh descent?)left after the birth thru (I'm told) family interference. Am told that Frank ended up with a lady with whom he had 3 children - possible that 1 had disabilities. Would love to be able to tell my dad that he has relatives somewhere!
