bernard dudley
looking for any info. on Bernard. Parents Clara and Samuel Dudley.Bernard was born circa 1919 and was my father's cousin.
My father was Thomas Edward Dudley (Ted) |
John Knowles Hickman b. 1836
I am his great, great grandson. Trying to find out who his parents were. He lists himself (1881 Census) as born in Worcestershire. He married Caroline Pearson in Dudley in 1856. They had 5 children, 4 of whom had their births registered in Stourbridge. I am convinced John K was born in the Dudley part of Worcestershire. There are several candidates in the 1841 Census, but which one is the right one ? John K & Caroline eventually emmigrated to Vancouver where they eventually died in the early 1900's. My great grandfather was Joseph Benjamin Hickman who returned from Canada. My grandfather was Harold Hickman. The 'Knowles' is intriguing me. |
