Granville, Marie
Searching for details of my great great grandmother. All I know about her is that her first name was Marie and that she had a child (John Christopher) with my great great grandfather Thomas Granville in 1862. Thomas Granville was born about 1831 in Burslem, Staffordshire.The baptism is registered as having taken place at the military chapel in Newbridge, co. Kildare where Thomas was serving as a private in the 3rd King's Own Hussars. I am assuming that Marie is a local woman from Newbridge or the adjacent Co. Dublin area. |
McGuinness or McGinness
My GG-Grandfather Stephen McGuinness (b1840) had a Farm close to the Aga Khan's racing stables, the Ballymany Stud at Newbridge, Co Kildare. Can anyone tell me anything about the area or the family. His son Thomas married Annie Payne and they lived in Leeds, Yorkshire. |
