John Ferguson married Eliza Weir & came from Liscausy which was north of Stewartstown in 1700/1800s. They were farmers & presbyterians. Some of their family came to New Zealand in 1800s.Would love to hear from anyone who thinks they may have information to help us trace our Irish relations (however small the info. may be). William Ferguson was a son of above. He married Matilda Harkness & as far as we know remained in Ireland. William & John's sister Eliza Ferguson, married Henry Hamilton in Ireland.

red mail Archibald McClean or McLean
I am trying to trace the roots of my great grandfather born Stewartstown 1839. and moved to england marrying a Mary Ann Mott in 1860 in Manchester I think he may have actually come from Donaghmore, however his father could also have been Archibald born 1814 and his father William born about 1795. The family may have been flax growers originating from Scotland. Can anyone assist with information about the family are they still also in Ireland.
